ACC Aviation appoints Jack Burt as SVP cargo

Global aviation services company ACC Aviation has appointed Jack Burt as senior vice president of cargo as it seeks to grow its global cargo charter offering and introduce enhanced cargo transportation capabilities worldwide.

Burt has more than 18 years of experience in the international air cargo sector. He most recently worked as senior vice president of cargo – Americas for Chapman Freeborn, where, earlier in his career, he had also held the role of senior cargo charter broker.

He was also previously vice president of cargo for Air Partner.

Founded in 2002 as an aircraft leasing specialist, ACC Aviation now delivers aviation consultancy, ACMI leasing, and air charter services. The company has a network spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and Asia.

In his new role, Burt will lead the continued expansion of ACC Aviation’s cargo division with a focus on strengthening market presence, deepening strategic partnerships and further developing the company’s expertise in time-critical, oversized, and complex cargo movements.

Working closely with ACC’s global network, Burt will also play a key role in strengthening ACC’s integrated service offering across the company’s charter, ACMI, and consultancy capabilities to deliver a consistently high standard of service to clients.

Phil Mathews, chief executive of ACC Aviation, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Jack to ACC Aviation at a pivotal point in our growth.

“His experience across leading cargo charter organisations makes him the ideal person to drive the expansion of our cargo capabilities and support the continued development of our world-class suite of services.”

Jack Burt, senior vice president cargo, commented: “I’m excited to join ACC Aviation at such an important stage for the business.

“There is a strong opportunity to build and scale a best-in-class cargo charter offering, supported by ACC’s integrated service capabilities. I look forward to working with the team to drive this next phase of growth.”
